I can wait

I can wait

I have enough time and patience to wait for as long as it takes for you to do or say what I want. Often used in a sarcastic or threatening tone as a means of putting pressure on the other person. A: "I'm sorry, I know I have your money here somewhere. Do you want to come back tomorrow?" B: "Nope. Keeping looking—I can wait." A: "Sir, it's going to be at least an hour before your order is ready." B: "I can wait. I'm not leaving here without it." Believe me, I can wait until one of you gives me a good explanation for smelling like cigarette smoke!
