I'm good
1. I am in a state of generally satisfactory health or well-being. A: "How are you, Tom?" B: "I'm good, thanks." Joe, nice to see you! I'm good, how've you been? I was sick back in January, but I'm good now.
2. I am not hurt or sick; I am all right. Used especially to express that one is not too hurt or sick to do something. A: "You shouldn't be walking on that ankle!" B: "Nah, I'm good! It's just a little sprain!" A: "Are you feeling OK? You look a little green." B: "I'm good. I just need to get a little fresh air." A: "Coach, I'm good!" B: "You're limping. Come on, let a trainer look at your knee."
3. I do not need anything else; everything is satisfactory. A: "Would you like anything else to eat or drink, sir?" B: "No thanks, I'm good." As long as everything is within reach, I'm good. And if I forgot something, I'll have a nurse get it for me later. A: "I'm probably gonna order an appetizer. You want anything?" B: "No thanks, I'm good."
