I'll have the same

Said when one orders or requests the same thing as the last person, as at a restaurant. A: "Could I get the chicken marsala?" B: "Oh, that sounds great, I'll have the same." A: "Just black coffee for me." B: "I'll have the same, thanks." You're getting a burger and fries? You know what, yeah, I'll have the same.

I would like the same thing that the last person chose. Waitress: What would you like? Tom: Hamburger, fries, and coffee. Jane: I'll have the same. John: For dessert, I'll have strawberry ice cream. Bill: I'll have the same.
