slang Money. A: "Did you see Sally's new convertible?" B: "Yeah, that thing looks like it cost some serious coin." I barely make enough coin to pay my rent each month, let alone pay for something like health insurance. I do some freelance work in the evenings to earn a little extra coin on the side.
