clydesdale

dated slang A handsome, appealing man. (Clydesdale is a large, powerful breed of horse.) Ooh, check out that total clydesdale at the bar—I'm going to go talk to him. I'm pretty sure they're going to some sort of oldies club. Aunt Mary's parting words were, "We're gonna dance and find some clydesdales!"—whatever that means! I'm not surprised that guy's a CEO—he has the air of a clydesdale.
