Chatty Cathy

A person who speaks incessantly or in great amounts, often without saying anything of consequence. One of my coworkers is such a Chatty Cathy. I never get any work done when he's around, because all he wants to do is talk, talk, talk! I've never been much of a Chatty Cathy. I just don't care for idle chit-chat. My five-year-old is such a Chatty Cathy. Seriously, it feels like she can talk for hours at a time about whatever pops into her head!
