A phrase used to urge someone to accept a particular situation, often an unpleasant or undesirable one. This is my department, so I'm in charge, and Ed better get used to it. Michael, as long as you have long hair, Grandma is going to gripe about it—better get used to it. Now that you have a baby, her screams and cries are your alarm clock. Better get used to it.
