A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle

A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle

proverb A self-centered person is not very appealing to others. The phrase is attributed to Benjamin Franklin. A: "That jerk Ben thinks more highly of himself than anyone else does—I can't stand him!" B: "I can't say I'm surprised. A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle." A: "Hi, when do we get to share our findings?" B: "Yeah, Frank, come on. A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle." Of course Josh had no interest in our ideas, as usual. Someone needs to tell him that a man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle.
