One's death, afterlife, or final resting place. The family was finally able to bring his body back from Taiwan to his long home in the cemetery of his ancestors. We were sad to learn that she had gone to her long home after a brief battle with cancer. A: "Where did Uncle Ted want his long home to be?" B: "Well, he actually wanted his ashes to be scattered over the ocean."
