(it's) time to shove off

It is time for one to leave or depart. "Shove off" is a nautical term, referring to the act of pushing against a dock in order to move one's boat away from the shore. We both need to be up early tomorrow, so it's time to shove off. OK, everyone, grab all your things—time to shove off! Time to shove off, Tom. We don't want to miss our flight.
