2. Unsophisticated, inexperienced, or gullible. This is her first job—she's as innocent as a lamb. Leave Julia alone. That sweet girl is innocent as a lamb and apt to fall for all your usual tricks. I was innocent as a lamb when I moved into the big city, but I survived.
