THE PRINCESS ROYAL on Tuesday unveiled a plaque in honour of the pounds 33,000 grant received from The Wooden Spoon charity, which enabled development of the cloakroom, washing facilities and a quiet room at Greatwood, the racehorse welfare centre.
The lift was funded by grants from The Wooden Spoon Society, The Variety Club, Kirklees Council, The Roger Williams Fund and Scout Association Treloar Fund.
Second step: paint the wooden spoon with the basic colour.
