Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
IF I may be allowed to answer David Llewellyn's question (Viewpoints, September 24), the apostle Paul in the same letter to the Romans states, the wages of sin is death (6:23), without specifying any particular sin.
