I don't understand (it). and I can't understand (it).
I am confused and bewildered (by what has happened). Bill: Everyone is leaving the party. Mary: I don't understand. It's still so early. Bob: The very idea, Sue and Tom doing something like that! Alice: It's very strange. I can't understand it.

I don't understand how a business owner can complete a complex financial statement and not figure out the financial difference between fixing poor health versus eating the proper foods.
What I don't understand is this: If former presidents have prohibited assassinations via a series of executive orders, why doesn't President Bush reverse that damage by an executive order of his own that would authorize the assassination of political and military leaders engaged in terrorism?
In reference to the July 2005 story, "Pentagon Taking Steps to Avert Ammunition Crisis," I don't understand why the Picatinny Arsenal folks look to foreign countries to get us out of this mess.
